After thoughtful deliberation, we’re excited to announce that Chaincrib will be migrating its development from Cardano to the Base Blockchain.
This shift marks a significant transition as we’ve been building this unique RWA product on Cardano for months. Cardano on it’s part, has it’s strength.
However, the move to Base was necessary due to multiple challenges on Cardano, including the lack of liquidity, the absence of stable-coins crucial for the seamless operation of our platform, and insufficient developer support.
Unfortunately, even when we sought assistance from some founding partners on Cardano for assistance, it came with a price tag, underscoring the lack of support for developers building on Cardano.
Why Base?
Our decision to migrate to Base hinges on several key factors like robust developer support, an engaged community, stablecoin availability, and ample liquidity.
Base’s integration with Coinbase products and its position within Ethereum’s L2 ecosystem offers Chaincrib the scalability, accessibility, and cost efficiency needed for long-term growth.
Base’s low fees, powered by Optimistic ZK rollups, present an ideal environment for Chaincrib to thrive and bring real estate investment to a broader audience.
